John Withers CII - Managing Director

John, a licensed private investigator and certified international investigator, has been the Managing Director of Priority Investigations since April 2013. His journey with the company began in November 1991, when he undertook an intensive five-year internship, acquiring invaluable hands-on experience across Priority’s offices in Dublin, Cork, Belfast, and London. With extensive expertise in investigative research, screening, and due diligence across commercial, industrial, and financial sectors, John has developed a particular focus in Open-Source investigations. He recently achieved the respected ‘Open-Source Certified’ (OSC) designation through the OSMOSIS Association.

An active member of the professional community, John serves as Secretary and Committee Member of the Irish Professional Private Investigators Association (IPPIA). Additionally, he is the Regional Director for Ireland and the UK for the Council of International Investigators (CII). John’s leadership and dedication have been recognized with the prestigious CII ‘Malcolm W. Thomson, C.I.I. Memorial Award’ for Regional Director of the Year, an honour he received in both 2019 (shared) and 2024.
